Franklin Migraine

I wondered what a Franklin migraine was, when I first came across the link. Much to my suprise it’s not an actual type of migraine, but actually a place where they treat migraines.

I have migraines on occasion, but most of my headaches are actually tension headaches, and those caused by my neck problems, and also sinus problems. I have a headache every day, no lie. It’s not easy to live with, but you kind of get used to it.

Taylor Guitars

I’m not very musically inclined. I love listening to music, but I don’t know how to play any instruments, or even how to read music. I wouldn’t know taylor guitars from a Gibson!

I looked online to find the brand names. That certainly knows that I don’t know anything about guitars huh??

I do have hopes that my girls will learn to read music, and maybe even play an instrument, but we will see how things go.

EKG

An ekg does not seem to be on the horizon for us, thankfully. However we are looking at possibly needing x-rays and mri’s done on Dad’s back. That’s going to be expensive, but we’ll do what has to be done.

Life seems difficult right now, but then I guess it always seems kind of difficult, depending on how you look at things! Things will get better, I know they will!!!

Updates

WordPress keeps giving me a message saying I need to update to it’s new format. However I’ve tried and it wants some username and password that I apparently don’t have. I’ve contacted my techie about the problem, but she hasn’t gotten around to fixing it. I’ll have to remind her that she said she’d fix it. I can bug her, it’s my job as her younger sister. *LOL*

Maybe I’ll put a bug in her ear about making me a few templates for my blogs too, since I never seem to get around to trying to create them. However I’m not sure when she’d get around to it either, as she’s pretty busy too!!

Atrix

I’d be lost with the Atrix or any of those other “smartphones”. *LOL* I’m lucky to figure out my “dumb phone”. I still haven’t figured out if there is a way to access the minutes used from my phone. I always go online to look up that information. Which of course has it’s own issues, because it only gives “current usage” not the usage on the bill that I haven’t received yet, if that makes since.

Gourmet Anniversary Gifts For Girlfriend

I wish more guys would think of appropriate gifts for their girlfriends. I mean okay, I would not care to receive one of those gourmet anniversary gifts for girlfriends, however I know a lot of women would love to get something like that. Me, I’m the dinner out, maybe a movie type of person. I don’t care for fancy gifts either, I’d rather get a season of my favorite tv show, or something like that, instead of jewelry that I wouldn’t wear.

Stuff

I’m trying to do better at keeping my blogs updated so here I am trying to come up with something new to talk about. I guess my subject is basketball.

Des started her first year of basketball last week. It’s just practices right now. Games start in January. She’s having a good time, and doing pretty well considering it’s her first year. She knows a few of the girls on her team, which helps her be a bit more comfortable. Her shooting is improving, and she’s working on dribbling without having to watch the ball. All in all, I think she’s doing well, and most importantly having fun and learning/trying something new.

Marcus Lab Coats

So here I was a few days ago doing my work, and I thought it was going along fine. I mean what could be wrong with talking about Marcus lab coats and such things?? Then I log in this morning to find that for whatever reason none of it posted the other day. Grrr!!!…Well I guess I tried….but now I have to do work this morning to try and get everything caught up.

Update

Okay, so life is chugging along here, with it’s ups and downs.

A wild turkey hit Dad’s windshield last Wednesday, so he was driving a different truck for acouple of days. I knew then he was starting to get sick. It ended up being pnemonia. Thankfully no hospital stay was necesary!! He has been home all week though.

I had a horrible sinus infection two weeks ago, and finally called my Dr. and got medicine for it early last week. I’m feeling much better, although now I think I have a bit of a cold.

We are eagerly awaiting Christmas!! Although there have been a few mishaps this year, but I’ll tell you all about that on one of my other blogs.

Switch Plates

So my landlord was just by a few days ago, because all the lights in the East end of the house were not working. It was quite a puzzle to me, as the outlets still worked, and I had already tried flipping the breaker to no avail. However it turned out to be a loose wire in one of the other outlets. While he was here he also replaced one of the outlets as well as a couple of the switch plates. They don’t match everything else color wise, but then who really cares in a place like this?
