We’re Up and Running

We got internet a few days ago, which makes us all happy again. It’s so much easier to keep up on my blogging and work with internet at my fingertips!!! Speaking of work, I have some to get done tomorrow, but tonight is just for me to do a little updating.

Des was home from school today, she developed a slight fever last night and has a horrible cough. I hope it’s not Strep Throat, as I heard today that it is going around the school.

We only have about 3 weeks of school left, for which I’m glad. The girls are all trying to get phone numbers for there friends, so that they can call, and visit during the summer. We were trying to set up a sleepover for this weekend, but it isn’t working out very well, as the girls that Des and Meg want to invite are all busy.

I am annoyed that I don’t get good cell phone service in Leroy. I am trying to get a different cell phone that does work in Leroy, in my house. I think I’ve found one, but I want my cousin to come with his phone (which is the same company I’m thinking of going with) just to make sure that the phone does work over here. According the coverage map, it should, but I want to be sure. The nice thing is, if it does work here, it will be much cheaper than Verizon!!

I did a few errands today, but not much else. Tomorrow will be spent getting my room in order, getting some laundry done, and whatever else I happen to get done. I did do some de-ant-ifying today, as the little ant bait thingys just don’t seem to do much, so I sprayed some home defense stuff in my kitchen this evening, and we’ll see what my ant situation is like in the morning.

I’ve also been finishing up some beading projects that my Mother never finished from ages ago. The girls have taken quite a liking to my beaded bracelets that I made as a child. I’m even teaching the girls how to make them. Des already has one finished. I’ve always enjoyed beading, so it’s no hardship to teach them, and who knows, I might be able to sell some of them, or at least make the girls very popular with their friends by having them give them away.

Well it’s time to dose up Des and get the girls off to bed.
