Piggy Bank Yes school just started again, but I’m ready for a vacation!! I’ve looked at the Outer Banks vacation rentals before, but now it seems even more lovely!
This house offered by Carolina Designs Realty seems absolutely perfect from what I can see. 5 bedrooms, 4 and 1/2 bathrooms!!! We could enjoy doing family activities like walking to the beach or park by the ocean. Enjoying the sunset and sound views from the community soundside deck. There’s easy access to Duck Village. It says that it is a private refuge in one of Duck’s quietest neighborhoods. which sounds beyond perfect right now! With a view of the ocean, a lovely outdoor pool area with volleyball, and lower level game room/sports bar. The house also has MANY special features: PRIVATE POOL, HOT TUB (MY FAVORITE!!), 10 TVs, 3 VCRs, 2 DVD players (who would have time or the desire to use the tv’s and accesories with all the other great stuff??), video library, stereo, gameroom/sports bar with pool table, XBox, and many more!! They have a lot of other houses available too!
It sounds heavenly just thinking about a trip like that!!!

Piggy Bank I’m hoping that Mom doesn’t need to file a disability appeal, but if it becomes necesary I’m going to try to get her to use Allsup.
Since 1984, Allsup has helped more than 130,000 people receive their Social Security Disability Insurance and Medicare benefits. Allsup has a 98% success rate for those who complete the SSDI process with us. Allsup appreciates how difficult it can be to get the Social Security disability benefits. It is said that people who choose Allsup usually get their SSDI award faster. Allsup only charges a fee if they obtain Social Security disability benefits for you. They can help you get the SSDI benefits whether applying for the first time or appealing a denial. They can help people file a disability appeal after they have been denied by the SSA. No one pays them to get SSDI either – they are paid a fee for helping people through the process with the SSA.

Piggy Bank Over the years I’ve tried many home based businesses. Always the quest to make money, but to still stay at home. Home has always been where my heart was. To date, nothing has worked out aside from my blogging. I do have a bit of hope that I can make something of my website design, but even then I’m not holding my breath.

Piggy Bank I’m not much into the contemporary sofas. I’m more of a classic girl. I don’t need anything fancy, or even stylish. I just want something comfortable to sit or even sleep on. I would want it to be clean, and I really don’t care what color, as long as it wasn’t something like orange, or lime green, or anything like that. But even then, if I didn’t like the color, I could always get a slip cover for it.

Piggy Bank Des is still working at saving up enough money for the mp3 player. She’s looked at some of the ipods, but I think she’s decided that they are too expensive. I kind of agree. We don’t know very much about mp3′s or Ipods, but it seems to me that the cheaper ones will do what she wants it to do, so why pay more money?

Piggy Bank While cheap auto insurance is nice, at this point I’d rather have cheap electric bills!! Our electric bill may not be bad by most standards, but it’s deffinitely put a dent in our finances. Come winter time the electric bill will be a lot cheaper, but then we will have a propane bill. It’s pretty much a no win situation. I would be much happier with our electric bill if the a/c worked well enough to make the tempature decent in here.

Piggy Bank After looking at the weather report for this upcoming week, I would trade diamonds for a house of our own. A house with decent a/c. I was hoping to get by this year without buying a window a/c, but I’m just not sure it’s going to be possible. If we hadn’t had to put tires on my car this wouldn’t be so much of an issue, but I guess that wasn’t meant to be. I just don’t know what to do. I don’t want to spend the money, but I’m not sure I can survive the heat without some extra help!!

Piggy Bank It’s supposed to be in the high 90′s all week. I’m not looking forward to it!! I guess it’s a good thing that we have to go acouple of places this week.
School registration is Tuesday. When we find out what day school starts, we’ll have to plan supply shopping. Depending on the heat we might take a little extra time to look at office furniture, and whatever else strikes our fancy, just so that we can spend some time away from home, in decent a/c.

Family News So much for keeping up with my blogging. It’s been too hot to do much of anything really. The chores around the house are sliding, because of the heat. I am hard-pressed to get any work done because of the heat. Even the animals aren’t doing much, because it’s been too hot. I’m praying that August is not the hotest month of the year this year. I’ve never been able to handle the heat, and this house doesn’t make it any easier! Sometimes it’s as if we didn’t have a/c at all!! If it wasn’t already August we would probably get at least 1 window unit, to try and keep the house a bit cooler. Even though it is August, if we see the temps spiking up into the 100′s for more than acouple of days at a time, we will probably go ahead and get one, providing we can find a decently priced one in-stock somewhere.
Well anyway, I guess I better get busy with work.
