Security Cameras

Once upon a time security cameras were rare, nowadays you see them everywhere!! I think it’s sad how companies not only have to put cameras at the checkout counters, but have to put them all through the stores, because of shoplifting. Why are people so desperate for things that they steal it? I’m not talking food, I’m talking makeup, perfume, and senseless things like that….things that are NOT a necesity…why steal things like that?

Management Jobs

You know management jobs have never really caught my interest. Although I have been offered management positions several time, and have worked the management position without the title. It just seems that management positions are problematic at times, employees calling in, or quiting without notice, and a lot more paperwork and headaches. It’s just not for me, at least at this point in my life.

Steel Building

I often talk of my “someday home”, someday I hope it’s more than just a dream. It’s not just the inside that I think about. I often think of outbuildings too. I really don’t care about a garage for the car, but it would be nice to be able to store Christmas decorations and other things like that. I also think that perhaps a steel building for hay, or even as a horse barn would be nice.

Life Insurance Quotes

Here in a few months I’ll be looking at life insurance quotes again. I am going to quit smoking again, and so my life insurance will be cheaper. So I’ll once again be on the hunt for the best deal. Although I think other companies will be hard pressed to beat my current insurance. I will be glad to see the rates drop some though.

Birthday

Des has a birthday coming up soon. It’s hard to believe that she will be 11 years old. The years have flown by!! She is growing up so beautifully, inside and out.

Oh, we still have our battles from time to time, but I love her just the same. She’s going through the time where sometimes she acts older than what she is, and other times younger….I remember those years myself!

She’s an incredible girl!! I am so proud of her. She’s just so special!! She has so many interests and hobbies.
