I have thought, and posted a lot about the place I would like to own someday. I’ve talked a lot about the house especially, but the house isn’t all that I have plans for. I would like to have one or two different outbuildings. I have yet to decide if I would like steel buildings or perhaps wooden ones. They both have advantages and disadvantages, so I guess it will be a wait and see type situation.
I have no use for english horse tack, since I ride western, but I do enjoy teaching the girls about it, just as I enjoy teaching them about different breeds of horses, even though I have no plans to every own a horse of that breed. At some point in their lives, they might wish to ride english, or own a draft horse, or some such thing. Life is an education, if you let it be.
Have you heard of the home theatre system wireless?? It sounds pretty nifty!! It’d be nice not having all those cords getting tangled, or chewed on by my rabbits. *LOL* However I have had a wireless mouse and keyboard in the past, and haven’t been impressed. I don’t like the idea of typing something important, and then suddenly my keyboard doesn’t work anymore, and dumb me is out of batteries. *LOL*
It’s hard to believe that my birthday is just over a week away. I hadn’t realized that it loomed so close.
I really don’t have any plans. Although I think we will go out to dinner that night, and there is a softball game for the older girls in town that night. I thought it’d be fun to go and watch them. Other than that, well, in all likelyhood my birthday will be a quiet day, spent with my girls.
Dad came up with the idea of having a end of the season swimming party for our softball team. So today I set about finding invitations, however I’ve run into Holiday Party Invitations, birthday invitations, and invitations to other such events, but none for a swimming party. So it seems that I will have to make my own. Thankfully I know how to do that.
Upon seeing the word “barska“, I felt I had to do a bit of research and find out exactly what it was, or what it meant. What I discovered was that it is a name brand, not a particular item, or a foreign word. They make binoculars, rifle scopes and other such things.
So really I ended up doing that research only to find that it wasn’t anything I would be interested in, but it’s always better to know.
I think it is always a good idea to compare before buying. Like when I went about buying insurance. I looked around at different companies, to compare life insurance quotes and other options, before making my final decision.
It is the same when I bought a new camera, or a new dishwasher, or very recently steam cleaners. When I used my steam cleaner the last few times, I have noticed an increasing amount of noise that leads me to believe that the motor is going out on it. It seems silly to get a new motor put in it, when it is already fairly old, and has a few other minor issues. So I’ve set about comparing prices and features in new models of steam cleaners.
I can see that it would be beneficial for some to own atv winches. I suppose it would be nice to have when you are dragging trees and branches that are too big to drag my hand. I suppose there are uses, but I’m creative enough to think of what they might be.
At this point in my life, I can’t even say that I would have any use for an ATV, let alone one with a winch.
I love the places where the employees wear name badges. It’s nice to be able to address people by name. Or when you are calling, or writing in a complaint about a certain employee, you need to know their name. The same can be said when you are complimenting a manager about the good service that you recieved from such and such employee.
I wouldn’t have any idea what the best testosterone cream is. For that matter I didn’t even realize that they made a testosterone cream!!
How does one really know what is “best”? You can take the word of others, but sometimes it’s a case of “it worked for me, but may not work for you.” You can also do a load of research, but even all the research in the world can’t tell you for sure that it will work for you.
