Done For Now

Posted under Family News

Okay, well I have completed the work for two of my blogs, so I’m going to take a break and spend some time working on the quilt I’m doing for Des. I only have 2 more hearts to complete on that block, and then I can do a block for Megan’s quilt. I decided that I would do a block for Des, and then a block for Meg so that both quilts get done at about the same time. It also helps me from getting bored working on the same design and same colors all the time. So off I go.

Gifts For Graduates

Posted under Piggy Bank

I would love to hear my readers tell me some of their best ideas for gifts for graduates. This is just for fun, no pressure. I don’t even know of anyone that is graduating anytime soon. I’m just curious as to what other people think are good gifts for that special time.

So leave me a comment, and lets hear your ideas!! I will say that I think money is probably the easiest gift to give.

Safe Fat Burners

Posted under Piggy Bank

Hmm, are there safe fat burners?? I really don’t have an answer for you. I have always leaned towards the natural methods of losing weight. Lots of exercise, and healthy food. Now of course there is always big debates on what exactly is healthy food, but I don’t get into that. I eat lots of fruits and veggies, and also dairy products. I don’t get into the low starch diets, or no carbs, or anything like that. I just eat what I believe to be healthy, and what was presented as being healthy when I was a kid. Back when there were only 4 food groups. *LOL*

Curriculum

Posted under Family News

As I have once again embarked on the homeschooling journey I find myself open to different curriculums. I suppose that is one of the ways I have grown. Some of the stuff I’ve found isn’t for us, of that I’m sure, but other things, well, they just look soooooo awesome!!!!

I was lead to another curriculum today. It’s for charactor studies, like honesty, thriftiness, and their list goes on and on. It just looks too cool for words!!! I have no plans at this time to order it, but it is definitely bookmarked for future reference.

I have also found a state history study that I’m looking at for next year, and also a new spelling program that caught my interest. The state history would be in addition to the curric I’m currently using for history, but the spelling would be instead of what I’m using now.
